My music journey started many years ago when I was a little girl watching old musicals like "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Show Boat and The Sound of Music".  I knew then that I wanted to sing.  My love of music and singing grew over the years and led to my graduating with Vocal Performance degrees from both Oral Roberts University and New York University.

 

After graduating from NYU, I was privileged to work with a wonderful coach at Pittsburgh Opera, James Lesniak.  After several years of auditions, I made the decision to not pursue music as a career.  I spent about 2 years not singing after that because while it made sense logically, it took me those years to emotionally accept it.  James stuck with me during those years and helped me learn to love music again.

 

We spent the last several years working together on music we loved.
